Sony TC-377; mid-level deck but built to last
Complete overhaul of a Sony TC-377, once my father’s, and so worthy of restoration. Single-motor reel-to-reel decks are mostly mechanical in their workings and hence require re-lubrication of *everything* after the many years since the early ’70s. This is most of the work involved with very little else needed being well-built. Mid-level deck but a surprisingly good performer for the time.
