Could be his are less than optimal or maybe they are just too much of a good thing. For some driver compliments, bigger may not always be better. I have only listened to mine when I was testing them out some time ago, but, I do recall kind of thinking they were a bit “darker”, they didn’t have quite the balance that the 710/810 had, but they were not setup in any sort of way, they were just in the shop floor.
