I thought I’d share a quick glimpse into my listening space recently setup in my retirement. It’s down in the basement which, there, bothers the wife far less when I’m playing at my “preferred listening volume” (e.g. loud!). I rotate between several sets of speakers depending on the musical genre I’m listening to at the time: Snell Type A II which I refurbished, Von Schweikert Research VR5/7 upgraded, and my all-around-fun JBL L220s for impact. Incidentally, the VR 5/7 covers were handstitched and logo’d by me (it’s a bit dusty down there). Enjoy!
