Greetings everyone.
Back in March, I was unexpectedly caught up in a corporate “downsizing” event. Since that time, I’ve been looking at new roles, but nothing has gained any traction. Given the current economic outlook longer term, we as a family have decided to downsize ourselves and move on. My original plan was to retire in 5 years, continuing the channel, etc, but that is not to be. I am effectively going to retire now and, with that, comes a lot of change, including shuttering the channel (I am looking at selling it to keep it going) and selling my collection.
So, at this point, I am going to start with the best pieces first to give them to most time up for sale. Then as they move out, move on to other items. Because I bought each piece in person, I hope to sell them that way, so I am not planning to ship many items unless they are small/light in nature and can be packed well. Should there be anything in the collection any of you have interest in owning, just let me know and we can see how we might be able to get it to you if you are not local.
It has been a LOT of fun over the years. Thanks to you all for being such great supporters along the way.

I’m very sorry Scott. I’m at a similar age and worry a bit about the same happening to me.
One suggestion that might help sales and get a bit of revenue from the channel is to post a video of each as an ad. This guy used to refurb Japanese market turntables and that’s how he sold them.

On the same page. I am going to work on some iconic units that I have yet to cover. I want to get a video out there about several more things, then I am going to do exactly that, create videos about the gear for sale (including those iconic units). It is going to be a crazy few months, so stay tuned.
